スカと転職

六本木ヒルズ（六本木6）では5月2日と3日の2日間、六本木ヒルズアリーナにて「スカ・クバーノ スーパーライブ」を開催する。「スカ・クバーノ」は、ロンドンの元祖スカ・バンド「Gaz Mayall and the Trojans」の兄弟バンドである「Top Cats」に在籍していたシンガーのナッティー・ボウが、サンティアゴのミュージシャンとともに結成したキューバン・スカ・バンド。キューバ革命により断絶されていたジャマイカとキューバのカリブ海音楽の交流再生を実践するために、現地のベテランミュージシャン達とバンドを結成した、いわば「ブエナ・ビスタ・ソシアル・クラブ」のスカ版で、2005年の「フジロックフェスティバル」での日本初公演で反響を呼び、今回初の単独公演となる。
